pirobase® Search

The pirobase® Search makes it easy for you to find any content within pirobase®. There are two different search modes:

• Simple Search
  The Simple Search allows easy access to the search functionalities of pirobase® .
  Simply enter one or more search terms in the textfield and specify the boolean relation of the terms.
  All available (meta)information will be searched (e.g. Content, keywords, descriptions, etc.)


• Advanced Search
  You can reach the Advanced Search using this link: Advanced Search.
  The Advanced Search offers you more detailed search capibilities.
  You can, for example, choose which fields of meta-information are searched. Different fields can be combined any way you choose.

After your search, the matching documents (hits) will be displayed in this part of the window. An Icon will specify what type of Document was found. This way, it will be easy for you to tell if a hit is an HTML page, a PDF file or a Word Document... The glasses-icon at the end of a result line, allows to preview some object-types with highlighted search terms.
In addition you can see when and by which user every found object has been edited. Using the link details, you can get further information about selective search results.
