Apply for a tradesman's parking permit for the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region

The tradesmen's parking permit for the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region (MRN) can be used by tradesmen's businesses that frequently work at different locations in the region and always need their service and workshop vehicles in the immediate vicinity.

It is recognised in all districts and independent cities in the MRN.

These are

• Bergstraße district,
• Bad Dürkheim district,
• Germersheim district,
• Südliche Weinstraße district,
• Neckar-Odenwald district,
• Rhine-Neckar district,
• Rhine-Palatinate district,
• independent cities: Frankenthal (Pfalz), Heidelberg, Landau in der Pfalz, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Mannheim, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Speyer and Worms.

You can also use it in the Karlsruhe technology region. This region includes the districts of Karlsruhe and Rastatt as well as the city of Karlsruhe and the city of Baden-Baden.

Is there no parking facility for your company's service or workshop vehicle within a reasonable distance of your place of work? With the craftsman parking permit, you can park the vehicle on weekdays for the duration of the work assignment in the following areas:

• in restricted no-parking zones
• in no-stopping zones, even outside the designated areas
• in traffic-calmed areas outside the marked areas
• at parking meters and in the area of parking ticket machines without charge
• in areas with compulsory parking discs without observing the maximum parking time
• in residents' car parks with corresponding additional signs

The use of the craftsman's parking permit can be revoked at any time, especially if

• Impairment of the safety and order of traffic or
• misuse (e.g. making a copy).

Note: Parking in pedestrian zones, on disabled parking spaces or in the area of the business premises is not possible with the MRN craftsman parking permit. If you require a special permit for the pedestrian zone, you must submit a separate application on site.

Validity: one year from the date of issue
