Commercial manufacture and/or trade in weapons – Notifying the opening or closure of a branch or subsidiary
Notice of the opening or closure of a branch or a dependent branch engaged in the commercial manufacture and/or trade of firearms must be submitted in writing to the competent authority.
Failure to give such notice constitutes an administrative offence under Section 53(1)(8) of the Weapons Act (WaffG).

- the city council (in urban districts and major district towns) or
- the administrative association

The licence to manufacture firearms or the licence to trade in firearms has been granted.
Procedure
The notification must be made by the holder of the firearms manufacturing or trading licence to the firearms authority responsible for the location of the branch or dependent branch.
Deadlines
The notification must be made within two weeks of the opening or closure.
