Funding for the umbrella organisations of the independent welfare sector – Submit a statement of expenditure
The umbrella organisations that have joined together to form the League of Independent Charities receive institutional funding from the State of Baden-Württemberg. Once the grant approval notice has been received, the funding can be accessed here, and a statement of expenditure detailing how the funds were used can be submitted the following year.

The regional council in whose district the association has its registered office.

Prerequisite
You are an umbrella organisation within the League of Independent Charities and have already received a grant notification from the Regional Council.
Procedure
- Log in to the service portal using your service account.
- Enter the association’s registered office and select the appropriate online form:
- The online funding request, if you have already received the grant notification and now wish to have the funding paid out
- The online statement of expenditure, if you received funding in the previous year.
- Complete the online form in full.
- For the statement of expenditure, you must also upload a partial invoice settlement in the upload section.
- Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation of submission.
Deadlines
Statements of expenditure must be submitted by 1 June of the calendar year following the year in which the grant was awarded at the latest.

As part of the statement of expenditure, a partial financial statement must be submitted.
